Lumix S5IIX RIG
There are 2 homemade elements in this rig. Behind the swivel build in monitor, there is a small block of wood with a thick layer of felt on top to damp and hold the monitor in place while operating it.
Between the back of the V-mount battery plate and the camera, there is the home made small box to hinde the extra coiled cable from the power cables to the monitor and the camera.
The box is made of some scrap 3mm masonite plate just cut out with a box cutter knife. The exterior dimensions are 60 x 85 x 22, it is most important that the 22 mm thickness is not exceeded so that it will not bump into the viewfinder.
Before the last plade is glued onto the box, the length of the cables coming out is adjusted to make an exact fit.
I have glued a thin plastic plate to the back of the V-mount plate to make the "cable box" stick better with the T-Rex black double adhesive tape. The thin plastic plate is glued with super glue.
